About Haka 💙
🐾 Meet Haka, the little boy with a big go-getter attitude!
Haka’s story began in a hot roof, where he, his siblings, and their devoted mum were found when he was only a few days old. Brought into care at such a young age, Haka has grown up surrounded by people and is incredibly friendly, confident, and affectionate.
This spirited little guy loves to show off his sass and charm. With his tail held high and his confidence even higher, Haka proudly displays his big personality every day. His two favourite things in the world? Zoomies and spending quality time with his human carers. And when he’s truly content, he rewards you with the sweetest purrs.
Haka is currently in care with his siblings Otago, Tekapo, Wanaka, and their mum Amberley. He’s also become best friends with Milford and Moana. Due to his social upbringing and young age, Haka must go to a home with a resident cat—or be adopted with one of his foster siblings or friends (all up for adoption).
He’s a hilarious playmate who loves to body slam and wrestle with the other cats, free entertainment included!
Haka also lives in a foster home with two resident dogs. While they can still seem a bit scary to him, he’s young, learning, and adaptable. A gentle, cat-friendly dog would be totally fine in his forever home.
Haka uses the litter tray perfectly, sometimes even announcing it beforehand and he eats like the healthy, enthusiastic cat he is.
Haka promises endless sass, tail wags, and cheeky bum greets, and in return he dreams of a family who will give him all the love and zoomie time he could ever want.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
