🐾 Meet Moana - the little girl with a big personality!
Moana’s story began on an extremely stormy day, when she and her four siblings were found drenched and hiding behind a shed. An elderly, half-deaf German Shepherd alerted his owner to the babies and with no mumma cat in sight, they were quickly brought into care where warmth, safety, and love were waiting.
Because Moana became a bottle baby at such a young age, she looks at her humans as family. She shows her affection through soft purrs while curled up on her carer’s lap, tiny meows to “chat,” and a desire to always be close. Her little legs may be short, but don’t let them fool you,they move fast! She loves to make adorable chirps while playing, and she’s very people-dependent, so she needs a family who will happily welcome a sweet, snuggly shadow.
Moana is currently in care with her brother Milford and her best friends Otago, Tekapo, Wanaka, and Haka. Because of her social upbringing and age, Moana must go to a home with a resident cat or be adopted with one of her foster friends (all also ready for their forever homes!). She adores zoomies, play sessions, and wrestles with the gang, the comedy is priceless.
Moana has met the resident dogs and, although she’s still a bit unsure of them, she certainly isn’t shy about telling them who’s boss. She’s young, adaptable, and will do well with a gentle, cat-friendly dog who respects her space.
This clever girl uses the litter tray perfectly and eats like a champ.
Moana would love a forever family who offers the perfect balance of snuggles, love, and playtime.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
