$175K worth of food donated to rescue pets in need across New South Wales!

Continuing to create happiness and full tummies for rescue pets in need, we collaborated with our awesome partners, Mars Petcare and PETstock, to help facilitate the donation of over 21,300 kgs of free pet food to 37 rescue groups and community outreach organisations across New South Wales.  

DCH Adoptions, who have been involved with these food donations since the beginning of the program were thrilled to receive over 612 kgs of food donated for pets in their care.

“We rely on volunteers to house and feed all the foster animals in their care, so being able to support our carers by providing food is a terrific help to take the burden off volunteers and keep our rescue animals healthy," said Ben Caple, Co-ordinator, DCH Animal Adoptions.  

“The food donations we receive take a huge financial stress off our very limited funds,” said Nicole Schyndel, Director, Niks Kats.  

Recipient member groups and community organisations included Paterson Valley Dog Rescue, Tiki Animal Rescue, Cat Rescue Port Stephens, Saving Cats Inc, Niks Kats, All Breeds Dog Rescue, German Shepherd Rescue, Kitty Kat Cove, Hounds on the Rebound, Krazy Kat Rescue, Country Kats and K9s Rescue, Peggy's Promise Rescue, Paws a moment & Rescue, Bells Echo Animal Rescue, Community Cat Collective, DCH Animal Adoptions, Inner City Strays, Monikas Doggie Rescue, Animal Adoption Agency, Musos of Bremen, Homeless Cats Helping Hand, WLPA Gladesville, Urban Cat Alliance, Rosehill Community Cats, Woof Dog Rescue, Friendly K9 Rescue , Rocky's K9 Rescue,  German Shepherd Rescue, Hills Cat Rescue, Greyhound Rescue, Westie Cat Support Services, West Connect Domestic Violence Services, Jade’s Dog Rescue NSW, Furry Friends Forever Rescue, Rescue Hub, & Sydney Fox and Dingo Rescue.
