PetRescue is delighted to announce a new major partnership with Lyka, helping to deliver freshly prepared, nutritious meals to thousands of rescue dogs across Australia.
For a dog transitioning from rescue into a new home, those first few weeks are an important part of their journey and full of big, beautiful milestones. Nutritious food plays such a huge role in helping them settle in, feel their best, and let their personalities shine. As Lyka’s founder and CEO, Anna Podolsky, puts it:
“Every dog deserves the best possible care as they start life in a new home, including nourishing food. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to improving outcomes for dogs, and to supporting the rescue community PetRescue has built.”
Through this partnership, Lyka will donate the equivalent of 81,000 freshly prepared meals, directly supporting PetRescue member organisations and the dogs currently in their care, while also helping strengthen the PetRescue adoption platform that connects rescue pets with new loving homes.
PetRescue’s Chief Operating Officer, James Lolicato, explains why this partnership matters:
