$8,566 Pet Food Donation Supports NSW Rescue Pets

In March 2026, rescue pets across New South Wales were supported by a generous donation, thanks to Wellness Pet Company AU (@wellnesspetfoodAU).

With a total value of $8,566.02 and 3.5 pallets of food donated, this contribution provided much needed food for rescue pets across NSW. For rescue organisations doing important work every day, donations like this go a long way in easing pressure and making sure pets in care get the nutrition they need.

Supporting Rescue Pets 

With this donation, Wellness Pet Company has supported four organisations across NSW:

• Tiki Animal Rescue

• SoCares Charmhaven Animal Care Facility

• Pets in the Park Parramatta

• Canterbury Bankstown Animal Shelter.

To date, Wellness Pet Company has donated just over $250,000 worth of pet food in total, continuing to help support rescue pets and the organisations that care for them across Australia.

How PetRescue’s Food & Product Donation Program Helps Pets and People

Thanks to the support of pet-loving partners and brands, like Lyka, Pet Circle and others, PetRescue’s national food and product donation program helps coordinate the distribution of donated pet care items to vulnerable and at-risk pets across Australia.

We recognise that supporting pets also means supporting the people who care for them. That’s why this program extends beyond PetRescue member organisations, including rescues, shelters and councils, to reach community outreach groups that help pets and people through changing life circumstances.
