  • Rosie

    Kelpie x Rottweiler Mix

    So good looking!

This stunning looking girl is called Rosie and she is a Rottweiler x Kelpie around 9 months of age. Having that kind of mix in her breeding makes her a very intelligent girl and a great match for an active person or family. Rosie is a happy-natured dog who is still playful and active like most dogs of her age. She plays with her best mate, Sox, who is a bordercollie x, and they get on very well together. When she arrived at her foster-carer’s house she was quite timid and although, when you observe her, you would think she is very outgoing and confident she is still a little hesitant around men. This passes once she has had some time to feel confident and, of course, treats always help. Rosie would benefit from some training and we think she would absolutely blossom in a home where she is treated as a member of the family and given time; she will make a loving and devoted companion. We haven’t seen Rosie with children but don’t anticipate that she would have any issue with them; however she will not suit a family with small children as she is too active. To find out more about Rosie please phone Lynda: 0401 264 514. Alternatively send a text, or email allbreedsdogrescue@gmail.com and request an application form. Rosie will be available for meet and greet near Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle area -- not far from the end of the M1 if you are travelling up from Sydney.

  • Panda

Australian Cattle Dog x Kelpie Mix

    Loves to chase a ball

Have a look at our beautiful boy, Panda. He’s an interesting mix – perhaps some kelpie, perhaps some cattle dog, but some other influence has given him his spectacular curly tail, and what that is is a mystery. Panda seems to really value his tail though, because he often looks over his shoulder to check that it’s still there. Panda is on the small size of medium. He is quite an active boy, although he is kennelled with a very active blue cattle dog who’s always on the go, and he follows her around constantly; no chance for this boy to be a couch potato while she’s around! To date Panda hasn’t had any training, but he is only a few months under 2 years old, so he is very trainable and learns quickly. He does know how to sit when asked. He loves to go for a walk, and is quite manageable with a lead and a harness. But his favourite thing in the world, nearly as good as dinner, is chasing a ball. He brings it back too, drops it at your feet and gets ready to take off after it again. This boy would chase balls all day if only it were possible. We have no knowledge of his experience with cats, nor have we seen him with children, but he has a nice nature and likes to please, so we do not expect that he would be a problem with children; however it would be best not to put him with children under 5, as he could unintentionally knock them over. Panda would make a lovely companion for an active family or person, and would flourish in a home where he was regularly taken for a run, had the ball thrown for him, may be a trip to the beach. To find out more about him please call his foster-carer, Lynda, or send a text; 0401264514. Panda is located near Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle region, and only 10-15 minutes from the end of the M1 if driving up from Sydney.

  • Sasha And Jd

    Bullmastiff x Rottweiler Mix

    They love each other

Sasha and JD are brother and sister Rottweiler x Bull Mastiff aged 2 years. Both are sweet natured and very affectionate, enjoying cuddles with their family, and quite often with each other. They are a bonded pair, and we would love to find them a home where they can stay together. Have a look at the photos and you will see how happy they are with each other. Both these dogs have had some training and are obedient. They sit for their dinner and wait until they are given the ok before they eat, they have learnt the word "back" and will move backwards when asked, and they walk well together, side by side on a duel lead. This is a great opportunity for someone who likes this kind of breed -- finding two such lovely dogs who are already trained and bonded together is good luck. Sasha and JD get on well with other dogs, and in their previous life have had a wonderful time swimming in the dam and visiting their neighbouring doggie mates. It would be wonderful to find them a home where they have similar opportunities. We think they would be best homed with an active family or person, as they are not well suited to being left in the yard without much attention or exercise. They are used to being around children. To find out more about Sasha and JD please call Lynda. If phoning on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday please call after 7.30pm and before 9pm: 0401 264 514. Alternatively send a text, or email allbreedsdogrescue@gmail.com and request an application form. Other days phone any time. Sasha and JD will be available for meet and greet near Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle area -- not far from the end of the M1 if you are travelling up from Sydney.

  • Kiki

    Kelpie x Staffy Mix

Loves the water & a ball

We’re delighted to present Kiki, 9 month old kelpie x staffy. She’s a very pretty girl with an unusual sable-coloured coat which is complimented by her lovely amber eyes. This girl has a sweet personality, loves everyone, loves other dogs, and loves to play. She is on the small side of medium sized. Kiki is quite an active dog and would do well with a family who would take her to the beach, take her for a run, and throw the ball for her. She loves the water, and if you have a bucket with water in it she’ll try and get in it. A clam-shell or a baby’s bath, doesn’t matter to her, she’ll try and fit in anyway. It’s hard to tell whether the water or chasing a ball is her most favourite thing, but she loves both. She brings the ball back to you and dumps it at your feet, ready for another go. She also loves to play with other dogs and is a keen wrestler. She has a mate who is about the same age and they spend hours chasing one another and wrestling in the grass. She would do well in a home with another dog. We have not seen her with cats or chickens so can’t comment on expected interaction. Kiki would make a lovely family dog. She is used to being inside with the family when they are home, but happy to spend time outside with another dog when necessary. To find out more about this beautiful girl please phone Lynda. If phoning on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday please call after 7.30pm and before 9pm: 0401 264 514. Alternatively send a text, or email allbreedsdogrescue@gmail.com and request an application form. Other days phone any time. Kiki will be available for meet and greet near Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle area -- not far from the end of the M1 if you are travelling up from Sydney.

  • Brady

Australian Cattle Dog x Bull Terrier Mix

    Loves a ball, loves water

Introducing Brady, a small-sized cattle x bull terrier aged 9 months. This boy is very handsome. He has a stark white coat with golden brown patches, and little dabs of black here and there, as if applied with a paint brush. His face quite clearly reflects his two breeds, so that if you view him from one side he resembles a cattle dog, but when you look from the other side you can see, if you are observant, that that side of his face looks more like a bull terrier. It’s very charming. Brady loves people and other dogs, and he wants to live his life to the fullest. He is very active, and LOVES to chase a ball. He goes and gets it, then brings it back for you to throw again, and it would be quite ok for him if you kept throwing it all day. He likes the water too, and will splash around and bite at its surface like it’s a game that he has invented. Brady would be best homed into an active household, and would love to have a run every day or a race up the beach. Our preference would also be that he go to a home where there is another dog as it would not be ideal for him to be left alone for long periods of time without company. Brady would be fine with kids, but perhaps not very small children because of his level of activity. We don’t know about cats, but would guess that he wouldn’t approve of them. To find out more about this lovely dog please phone Lynda. If phoning on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday please call after 7.30pm and before 9pm: 0401 264 514. Alternatively send a text, or email allbreedsdogrescue@gmail.com and request an application form. Other days phone any time. Brady will be available for meet and greet near Raymond Terrace in the Newcastle area -- not far from the end of the M1 if you are travelling up from Sydney.
