Jewell is a gorgeous, toasted marshmallow-coloured cat. She has blue eyes that are chronically cross-eyed, but has an incredible sense of smell to make up for it: she will sniff out any treat, no matter how well hidden. Jewell has a truly unique and beautiful coat and a little button nose, but despite her looks, she has a bit of a goofy personality.

Jewell started life on the street so she can be a little anxious and shy at first, but with a patient family willing to work on her socializing she will quickly come out of her shell. She is not keen on pats or snuggles yet but she is making progress every day! When comfortable, Jewell loves to explore and check out what people are doing. She's also food motivated so she could be trained if desired. Jewell LOVES playing and chasing things as long as they don't get too far away from her. Her favourite game is to pounce on feet under bed covers and chase her siblings around the house.

Jewell can be very sweet in her own way and is perpetually curious, always wanting to know what her people are up to. When interacting with new things she always goes 'paw first', literally, she will put out a paw to touch or grab the thing and pull it close to investigate with her sensitive nose. She's super gentle but it can be a little unnerving at first glance.

Because Jewell is used to being around cats, she needs a home with a suitable cat companion. She is currently in a foster home with her whole family, who are also up for adoption - so if you don't have a cat already, you could give them a forever home together!
