Hello, I'm Anstey and I’m looking for a loving home with people to give me lots of love and attention, and lots of new things to explore.

I'm really inquisitive and just want to know what's going on around me. I come when called, which my foster family think is really neat, and I love to greet everyone who comes through the door by flopping on my side and showing off my fluffy belly.

I've been looking for a forever home since I was 6 months old but I don't let that deflate my spirit. All I want is someone to love and play with me. I'm the sweetest little boy you'll ever meet - right down to my tiny chirps and squeaks - and I'm not much bigger than a kitten despite my age.

If you haven't seen it yet, I have the teeniest tiniest tail you'll ever meet, check it out in my photos. I actually come from a family of bobtails - we probably have some Manx heritage. I’ve got the least amount of tail of all my siblings, but it still sticks up when I’m having fun! I’ve been told it makes me look like a rabbit, what do you think?

I’m a BIG fan of treats and food, and I’m easy to train. I think I’m pretty smart, so if you want to try teaching me a few tricks, bring it on! When you get the dinner bag out, I’ll let you know I’m ready by winding between your legs and flopping all over the place.

I like being close to my people, even if I'm still getting used to being carried. I'm happy to be picked up most of the time, but sometimes I use my bunny rabbit springs and will hop away quickly. When I’m feeling comfortable I'll ask for pats by bumping your hand with my head or I'll simply flop down near you on my side or with my back legs sticking out everywhere - this is how you know I’m happy. Recently I’ve started to sleep cuddled with my people on their bed at night, it’s my favourite spot whenever I get the chance!

Playtime is the best time, I love to chase whatever you’ve got - string, feathers, paper balls, you name it! Unlike most cats, I also LOVE to play with water. On a hot day, I like nothing more than a tray of water I can splash with my paws.

I’m used to being around many cats and I get on well with others - even the grumpy ones who don’t like me very much! But I haven’t been tested with any dogs or young children.
