About Chino- Male Kitten (on trial 04/03/2022)
Chino is one handsome young man who is going to be such a looker when he's older. He's currently missing a couple of patches of fur due to a rough start to life, but with all the love he's been getting its already starting to grow back and he's filling out into one fluffy guy with the softest tricolour coat and cutest little white socks..
Chino absolutely loves to play, whether it's with his brothers or with toys. It's endless hours of fun to watch him skitter around. He has a particular penchant for toys on string.
Chino has taken a bit longer to get used to being handled but is growing ever more comfortable with it by the day. He'll nap on your desk while you work and if you get the pats just right he'll take a nap on your lap too.
Chino and his two brothers were found on the Central Coast and have been in care at Dog Rescue Newcastle since they were four weeks old. The poor dears were covered in fleas, underweight and and generally worse for wear. Chino had some tummy troubles and bloating, but with love and attention over the last month they have all improved by leagues and are now happy, healthy young kittens.
We think Chino would be okay with kids over 10 as he's still a bit skittish around loud noises. While he's not been exposed to dogs yet we think he'd adapt well to a house with a dog or other cats. We recommend he go to a home where he can have a friendly feline playmate to keep him company.
He gets along well with both of his brothers, Carlos and Charlie, who you can view here and here if you're interested in adopting them as a pair.
