About Kaleo

🐈 Cats- Yes please! Kaleo must go to a home with a resident cat or be adopted with one of his foster siblings

👦 Children- Love them! Kaleo is great with children of all ages and currently lives in a foster home with a 4 & 8 year old who he adores
Kaleo (pronounced Kuh-lay-o) is a sweet, gentle and confident little explorer with a big love for people. He's the perfect mix of playful, curious, independent and affectionate, and would love a home where he can be included in everyday family life.
When he's busy exploring and playing, Kaleo is quite happy entertaining himself. But when it's time to wind down, he'll happily seek out his humans for affection. He loves curling up right against you, making biscuits on your arm and even giving little face kisses! He's also a big fan of sleeping snuggled up against your chest and neck at night, although he's equally happy snoozing independently.
Kaleo is a medium energy cat who enjoys interactive play and exploring his surroundings. His current favourites are springs and crinkle balls, which he loves carrying around the house in his mouth, but he'll happily play with all sorts of toys.
His foster carers affectionately call him their little foal thanks to his long, horse-like legs and sleek, petite body!
He's a fairly quiet boy, but you'll hear his sweet little purrs during cuddle sessions and the occasional meow to say hello. Kaleo is easygoing, warms up quickly and is generally unfazed by household noises and activity. He has a great appetite and excellent litter habits. He's even quite happy to observe the vacuum cleaner from a safe distance!
As Kaleo is thriving in foster care with other cats, he will need to go to a home with a friendly, playful resident cat, or he could be adopted with his sister Amani, foster brother Kody or foster sister Mariah, who absolutely adore him!
Kaleo really is a special cat, he's social and affectionate without being demanding, independent enough to entertain himself but always happy to seek out his humans for love and cuddles. He'll make a wonderful addition to a home looking for a sweet, playful and easygoing companion, ideally with a feline friend to share his adventures.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will send you our Adoption Application Form 💛
Once we have received your completed application, we will contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens may be the right match for you, we will then arrange either a home visit or request a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we offer a 2-week trial period to ensure your new cat or kitten is the right fit for your family 🐾
Conditions apply. Heart & Soul Rescue reserves the right to decline a full refund if recommendations and care requirements regarding your adopted cat or kitten have not been followed during the 2 week trial period. A 25% administration fee applies if a cat or kitten is returned during that time.
Heart & Soul Rescue is a volunteer-run, non-profit charity. We receive no government funding and rely entirely on donations and fundraising to cover our vet and rescue costs.
