About Izzy 🌺
Izzy is a bright, affectionate little adventurer who would truly thrive in a fun and love-filled home. She loves having the freedom to roam, explore, and satisfy her natural curiosity though she isn’t a fan of being alone or confined to small spaces. Full of energy and personality, she brings joy wherever she goes!
Izzy starts to purr as soon as you enter her space, her gentle rumble a sweet welcome. She has the softest fur too! She loves a smooch and will sweetly offer you her cheek for a pat. Izzy loves chasing balls, springs and strings, and "capturing” and carrying her “prey”. She’s very good at jumping and climbing, often perching high up on her cat tower to survey her kingdom or peeking playfully from under the couch.
She enjoys having space to do zoomies and play, but also appreciates her downtime, all of which she does with her brother and sister who are also currently available for adoption. After an active play session, Izzy can be found curled up in a small box, her cat tree or stretched out on a cosy cushion for a long, peaceful nap.
Izzy is currently living in a quiet foster home but has previously lived in a busy family home with small children. She interacts well with toys and enjoys gentle pats from a 4-year-old, though she does prefer to hide from a busy 1-year-old. She is very comfortable with everyday household sounds like the TV, blender, and vacuum, and is not even fazed when new visitors or tradespeople turn up!
Izzy may need a little time to adjust to new spaces and people when adopted, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and fun-loving personality truly shines. She settled in very quickly to his new foster home and fit in well with the three resident cats.
Izzy is food motivated and uses the litter tray perfectly, making her a wonderful and easy addition to the right family.
If you’re looking for a playful, curious and super sweet companion who will greet you with purrs and fill your home with energy and affection, Izzy could be your purrfect match.
As Izzy is thriving so well in her foster home with feline company, Izzy ideally would love to go to a home with a resident cat or alternatively she would love to be adopted alongside her brother Jonty or sister Dottie.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (a 25% admin fee will apply)
