About Dottie
Dottie is a sweet, gentle little princess who divides her time between happily lounging in cozy spots and quietly exploring her surroundings. She has a soft, observant nature and will sometimes tuck herself away to watch the world go by from a safe distance. While she’s still a little unsure of humans, Dottie is making wonderful progress with her foster carers every day.
This lovely girl is very food motivated and absolutely adores her treats. She’s happy to enjoy gentle pats when she’s distracted by her favourite treat tubes, and with a bit of patience, consistency, and love, she will continue to grow in confidence and connection with her humans. In the meantime, she often seeks comfort and affection from her feline foster siblings.
Dottie shares a special bond with her sister Izzy, one of her favourite pastimes is snuggling up together or racing around the house in playful zoomies. She also loves interactive play, especially wand toys, and enjoys batting, chasing, and proudly carrying around her ball and spring toys.
She is fully toilet trained and has lovely indoor manners.
Dottie is currently living in a quiet foster home with five other cats, including her brother Jonty and her sister Izzy. She has previously experienced a busy household with young children, but she would thrive best in a calmer environment with older children who understand her need for space and patience.
Dottie is looking for a home with kind, understanding humans who are patient and willing to put in the time to bring her out of her shell and gently encourage her to feel safe with physical contact. With the right support, she has so much love to give.
Ideally, Dottie would love to be adopted alongside her sister Izzy, as the two share a beautiful bond. Her brother Jonty is also looking for his forever home, and all three are wonderful companions.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (a 25% admin fee will apply)
