About Henumi 💙
Henumi is the quiet observer of the family and is looking for a home that understands some kittens move through the world gently, at their own pace.
Henumi isn’t one for big cuddles, but he’s very happy to interact on his own terms. Wand a ribbon toy, dangle a ping pong ball on a string, and you’ll have his full attention. He loves a good chase, enthusiastic zoomie sessions, and has recently discovered the joys of parkouring around the house. When playtime is over, he’s just as happy to find a quiet spot for some downtime, often hiding in plain sight, blending so perfectly into his surroundings that you’ll swear he’s vanished, only to spot him calmly perched nearby watching everything unfold.
Henumi enjoys bird-watching sessions out the back door, prefers quieter outlooks away from passing cars, and loves sunny spots. He is already used to a brief of cuddles and a gentle pick-up when necessary, especially if it results in a better access to the dinner bowl. He will benefit from a kind home that will help him understand how good cuddles are.
Henumi would suit a calm, patient home with adults only or older children who can respect his need for space and quiet, and allow trust to build naturally without forcing it. He enjoys being near people without feeling pressured to interact directly, and will happily hang out, play throw toys, or accept a short pat.
He has lived in a single, stable foster home with his mumma and siblings and must be adopted into a home with another friendly cat, or alongside one of his siblings, Koura or Makaro. With time, consistency, and kindness, Henumi will blossom into a loyal companion for someone who values quiet company, playful moments, and the joy of earning a cat’s trust.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
