About Makaro 🌷
Makaro is a beautiful (and rare) champagne girl, naturally gentle and observant, and definitely not the mischief-maker of the family. She likes to watch the people around her and quietly work things out in her own time. She may be a little shy at first, but with patience (and especially if food is involved) she warms up and starts to show her affectionate side. Mealtimes are her favourite event, and she’ll politely let you know dinner is due by placing her front paws on your legs, always with the softest touch and no claws.
Under her calm manners, Makaro does have an adventurous side. She loves zoomies, has recently added a bit of parkour to her repertoire, and has become very skilled at climbing on the clothes horse, this being her favourite challenge, which she navigates with impressive ease. She would love a cat tower to climb in her new adoptive home.
Makaro plays gently and is happy to bat around her favourite ping pong ball on a string.
Makaro is learning to enjoy being patted and the occasional cuddle, and will calmly let you know when she’s had enough by gently pushing away. She’s still learning that affection can be quite lovely, and her confidence continues to grow every day.
She has lived in a calm foster home with her mumma, Cami, and her two brothers, Koura and Henumi. Makaro would likely be best suited to a home with older, respectful children aged 12+, and she must go to a home with another friendly cat as a friend, or be adopted with one of her siblings, Koura or Henumi.

Adoption details
Please email us at adoptions@heartandsoulrescue.com.au if you are interested in adopting one of our precious souls, and we will email you our Adoption Application Form.
Once we have received your completed form, we will then contact you to discuss suitability. If we feel one of our cats or kittens will be suited to you, we will arrange a home visit or ask for a short walk-through video of your home.
If all goes well, we will give you a *trial period of 2 weeks to see if our cat or kitten is the right one for you 💕 *Conditions apply - We reserve the right to reject a full refund if recommendations & requests regarding your new cat/kitten have not been adhered to. (A 25% admin fee will apply)
