Confident and friendly, Koura warms up quickly to new people and environments and loves being part of whatever’s going on. He’ll follow you from room to room, especially if he suspects you’re about to open a mysterious new “portal” he hasn’t explored yet.

Koura is very curious and his favourite pastime is to check everything out first, just to be sure, then happily circles back for pats and gentle cuddles once his curiosity is satisfied. Toys are a serious business for Koura: a ping pong ball on a bit of twine, a strip of fabric, or anything that moves is fair game, and a daily zoomie session is simply part of his routine.

Koura is endlessly entertained by anything that is going on inside or outside of his home - people passing by, the occasional pet, neighbourhood activity, and even nearby children don’t bother him. He’s settled well with everyday household noises, and even an unexpected sneeze might just earn a surprised look. He’s also taken great pride in learning good litter habits and has even started “helping” with sweeping by attacking the broom.

A big personality in a small body, Koura hasn’t yet met young children but would likely enjoy a home with respectful kids who are keen to play and share adventures. He will need to go to a home with another friendly cat, or be adopted with one of his siblings, Makaro or Henumi, so he can continue to learn, play, and feel secure.
