About Ginny
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Ginny sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Meet Ginny, the feline with a tranquil spirit and a heart full of affection. Her gentle demeanour and calming aura make her an idyllic match for anyone seeking a soulful pet to share serene spaces and quiet companionship.
Initially, you might find Ginny a little shy, but give her a little time to warm up, and you'll expose an extraordinary capacity for love and loyalty. She adores rolling on her back, an invitation for a loving belly rub or a careful brushing session that she immensely enjoys. While Ginny cherishes these bonding moments, she's also quite content being in her own space, proving herself to be a wonderfully balanced companion.
Among Ginny's favourite things are simple comforts that accentuate her peaceful persona. She thoroughly enjoys perching herself on the window sill, gazing out into the world with a quiet curiosity. Sunshine is particularly dear to this amicable feline; find a sun puddle, and you'll find Ginny blissfully napping in its warmth. Furthermore, Ginny has a predilection for curling up in laps - cuddling up and purring away in pure contentment.
Ginny seeks a calm household, ideally with a guardian who can appreciate her serene demeanour. An environment without resident cats will ensure that she thrives, considering her preference for exclusivity when it comes to human companionship. She's quite adaptable and can fit well in an apartment setting or a rural environment. Outdoor access will be a delight, allowing her to satisfy her occasional curiosity beyond the inner dwelling.
In the end, Ginny is much more than a pet; she's a companion, a calming presence, and a loving friend. With her around, your home will surely be touched by an extra spark of joy and tranquillity
Ginny's bestie, Squirt, is also seeking a new home; they can be adopted together or rehomed individually. Check out Squirts profile here --> https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1043139

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of the adoption fee.
Home2Home currently operates a pay-what-you-can system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose the adoption fee amount that is most suitable for their situation. The adoption fee is paid directly to PetRescue (via a secure payment link), and assists us to continue to run and develop programs to assist pet owners, just like Home2Home.
Following adoption - change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on listing) will be provided.
