About Squirt
We at Home2Home believe everyone deserves the joy that cat guardianship brings! We love seeing wonderful cats matched with loving adopters, and we don’t want adoption fees to be a barrier to you bringing a loving cat into your heart and home. So if Squirt sounds like the cat for you, we ask you to nominate your own adoption fee amount. There is no minimum or maximum amount required, and all adoption fees continue to fund PetRescue’s life-saving programs that support pets and people!
Like her sea turtle namesake, Squirt is a plucky, playful girl who is bubbling with joy and quickly turns any stranger into a friend.
While Squirt is starting to appreciate lazy afternoons and naps in the sun, she is an optimist and takes every day as a new opportunity for adventure!
In the evenings, she stretches her legs for some zoomies around the house while she shows off and entertains her family. Then she settles down again for a proper cuddle session so you can drift off to sleep to the sound of her contented purring. Squirt is more than just a cat; she's a warm, purring ball of love.
While Squirt is perfectly content with an indoor life (as long as you have enough space to showcase her kitty version of playing in the current), having outdoor access where she can explore in safety, would be a bonus.
Squirt's love of people is second to none and she would love to meet you!
Medical notes
Squirt experiences environmental asthma, which is treated with an inhaler. It is believed that her asthma is caused by her current living environment so may improve in her new home. Squirt currently enjoys a Hills Z/D diet, as this food keeps her tummy happy!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
