Saving Ishtar. Healing Sani.
Sani loved her cats like they were her own children. Sadly, after months of vet trips and nursing them at home, they passed away in 2013.
“At that point, I truly believed it was possible to die of a broken heart,” says Sani. “I decided the only solution was to find another fluff-ball to love and save another life, so I started searching on PetRescue.
“I looked at hundreds of super-cute pussy cats, then I saw sweet little Ishtar and my heart flew into my mouth! I gasped, and said out loud ‘She's the one’.
“However, I had to take a chance on trusting my instinct. Ishtar was in foster carer in Wagga, and I live in Sydney, so I couldn't meet her prior to adopting her.”
Sani spoke to the foster carer first to make sure she was the best home for Ishtar, then had her transported to Sydney.
“It was love at first sight and cuddles in the car all the way home. She settled in beautifully and has brought much love, light and sparkles into the house after a super tough seven months. I am so, so thankful to PetRescue and her foster carers for bringing her into my life.”
