Profile ideas for:
Shy cats
Lilly, via Give a Kitty a Home
Meet pretty lady ____. She absolutely loves the companionship of humans after settling in. She just adores being in the presence of her humans and will follow them from room to room. ____ can be a little shy when she meets new people (aren't we all!), but once she's comfortable, she's so loving and playful.
____ enjoys a 1:1 relationship, focusing solely on his main human. ____’s modesty is endearing, and he cultivates more intense friendships. Once you’ve won his heart, you can count on him at all times. His sensitivity also means that he can feel a little overwhelmed at times, and will go to recharge and return when he’s ready!
Independent kitties

If you’re low-maintenance and after a housemate I’m the cat for you. I can entertain myself for hours playing about the place, so if you’re after someone to share your space with – I’m the one for you!
Well hello there. So, despite my youth and cuteness I do not require a lot of assistance – thank you anyways though! I am, in fact, quite independent for my age, and very low maintenance. I’m loving, and affectionate, but I enjoy having my own life too – playing, sleeping, eating. It’s a cat’s life…as they say ;)
____ is a calm and friendly kitty who’s well at ease with people and has spent time with kids. She also tolerates other pets as long as they’re not too boisterous. She’s an independent lady who’s happy to do her own thing and loves a cuddle and a pat when she’s in the mood. Snuggling up or hiding in a warm place is her favourite thing to do - the sunny spot is purrfect for sleeping in or rolling around in.
This gorgeous soul would be the perfect match for anyone that appreciates a calm and relaxed lifestyle. ____ is an independent kitty that is reliable, balanced and dependable. With that said, he also has plenty of affection to give! He lets you know when he wants your attention by gently putting his paw on you. ____ prefers to come to you rather than you go to him. He doesn’t like being picked up, but this gentleman happily sits on your lap, either on the couch on when you’re laying in bed.
Curious cats
Florence, via Heart & Soul
I’m a curious cat with lots of investigating to do. Nothing gets past me! No siree. If you’re after an active cat who is very playful and loving, come and check me out!
I’ve been in the investigating game for a while now, and there are still many stones left unturned. When I’m not checking out various noises, or sights, I’ll give you plenty of affection, and love, but with one eye open and ear to the ground. I take my Senior Investigator role very seriously!
Quick, what’s that? I’ll just go and investigate! Oooh oooh, what’s going on over there?! Did you hear that? This world is a very exciting place and I’m ready to check it all out! In between my playing I’ll make time to give you plenty of love too! Ooh, did you hear that? Excuse me…I just have to go and check it out…
Only cats

____ would love to be an only pet so she can soak up all the attention and be with her people as much as possible. She adores attention and is a great companion. Her favourite thing now is her cosy bed and gazing at everything outside. She is curious and adventurous.
Laid back cattos
Mary-Kate, via Perth Rescue Angels
I’ve gotten to this age because I don’t stress. See, look at me – still very cute – no stress wrinkles on this face! Gotta take it easy – give me a lap and I’ll give you an affectionate, chilled-out cuddle partner!
Hi there. I like to take things pretty slow – I’m in no great hurry to get anywhere – except perhaps your lap for some love and affection. If you want a relaxed companion; someone to kick back and cuddle with after a hard day’s work, I’m the cat for you.
Young and boisterous? I don’t think so. Despite these youthful cute looks, I prefer a more mature and relaxed lifestyle. Let me love you, adore you, and relax with you! Keen? Well, come and pick me up! I’ll just catch up on some more sleep in the meantime…
Social butterflies
Hello, human! Fancy meeting you here. In case you haven’t guessed yet, I’m definitely a ‘people-person/kitty’. I’m just looking for someone to love, adore and play with. I’m very friendly and love cuddles. Wherever you are, that’s where I’ll be. So come on, let’s meet!
____ enjoys spending his time outdoors, and would not be suited in an indoor-only environment. This social butterfly will come and greet you upon returning home from work. He lays on the footpath in front of the house, watching the world go by or seeking cuddles with others in the neighbourhood. He’s happy to flop down and snooze in the sun and always keen to make new friends.
____ is a rare gem - a kitty who loves his humans so much that he'll even come up to them with his little arms out - asking to be picked up! He's a loving boy who will greet his people with cheek rubs. You can often find him daydreaming and getting lost in his thoughts.
Sweet seniors
Daisy, via Cat People of Melbourne
____ is your guy if you’re looking for a friendly, mature, and well-trained cat. Despite his age, he still likes to play, chase yarn or string, or a feather on the stick. When he’s not playing, this gentleman dreams about all things food. Nom nom nom!
____ is sweet and gentle with beautiful manners! She’s a mature lady with a quiet and shy nature and is looking for a quiet, calm home environment without other pets to relax and sleep in between her three meals a day, which she will be sure to remind you of! ____ is an independent cat but she does enjoy being doted on with pats and may come up for the occasional snuggle on your lap.
Grown-ups only
Hina, via Forever Friends Animal Rescue
____ adores her big humans but is not a massive fan of the little ones, as they stress her out. ____ enjoys spending her time mostly indoors to spend the most time with her humans. She will thrive in an adult-only household, where she can be herself and show off her cuddly, talkative and playful personality.
Bonded besties
Miss Pepper & Mr Peanut, via Heart & Soul
____ and ____ are double without the trouble! They are affectionate, friendly, love snuggling and playing with each other. Their favourite things to do are snooze, play outside (if it’s nice), and chill in their cat tree.
Kittens
Chilli, via Belle Vie Animal Rescue
This lanky teenager will pounce his way into your heart, four paws first, with his boisterous curiosity and headstrong personality. Pingu is always the first in line for food, toys and attention and is an affectionate little guy who will nuzzle you when he’s feeling loving. This sweet, curious boy will return your love and attention threefold. He will never fail to leave you laughing at his goofy antics.
