Our rescue family continues to grow
Our rescue family continues to grow
We know that bigger isn’t always better, but when it comes to rescuing and rehoming pets, we say that size really does matter.
And with that in mind, we’re stoked that PetRescue continues to go from strength to strength, with 129 new rescue organisations joining in the past year - 39 of which have become part of our PetRescue family in the past four months alone!
At PetRescue, we believe that every pet deserves to be safe, respected and loved - and we're determined to support as many rescue organisations as we possibly can to find new families for the pets in their care.
Rescue organisations like Victoria-based Dandy Cat Rescue, which was formed in early 2018, has already rescued and rehomed more than 45 cats and kittens via the PetRescue website.
“We rely so heavily on PetRescue to promote the beautiful cats and kittens we have in our care,” says Co-Founder Melissa Mitchell.
“PetRescue gives us exposure to animal lovers that we could never gain from our website or via word-of-mouth, it is fundamental to our rescue work and we’re incredibly grateful to have this free service that reaches potential adopters across Australia. Thanks for being there PetRescue.”
In short, we’re all about creating happiness and saving lives. So if you know anyone looking to add a four-legged, furry family member, why not suggest they go to PetRescue.com.au. With almost 1,000 rescue groups and more than 8,000 pets listed, including adorable felines from Dandy Cat Rescue, we’re sure the next addition to their family is patiently waiting online.
