When Jessica’s husband headed off to work in the mines, it was comforting to know there was another important man in her life to keep her company, their dog Scully!
“We adopted Scully in September 2013 from Animal Rescue Queensland, and it took no time for him to become apart of our family!” explains Jessica. “My husband works away in the mines, so Scully has provided me with all the company and love that I often missed.”
Always eager and bursting with unconditional love, Scully spends all of his time at Jessica’s side. In fact, the two have become almost inseparable. “Now I joke that he is my number one man and my husband is second!” Jessica laughs. Forget man’s best friend; sounds like Scully is truly at home being one of the girls!
Not only that, but the two besties have become keen exercise buddies too. “Scully is very active, which means he is always willing to walk, run and play, which suits my active lifestyle.”
“The unconditional love that dogs give is irreplaceable and I love coming home everyday to his smiling slobbering face!” Thanks for sharing your great story of companionship Jessica!
