List Your Pets as Available for Foster
Did you know that when you list a pet on PetRescue, you can make them available for adoption, foster care, or both? It's a simple but powerful way to cast a wider net and find more carers for the pets in your care.
Opening a listing up to foster means your pet is visible not just to people ready to adopt, but to the growing community of people who want to foster- people who may be the perfect temporary home while a forever family is found. More visibility, more options, and more opportunities for every pet you're caring for.
When creating or drafting a pet listing, simply select the option ‘pet is also seeking a foster home’ and let the community do the rest.

Foster caring is an area we're actively exploring and genuinely passionate about because we believe there's so much potential to strengthen and grow foster networks right across Australia.
We're looking at innovative new ways to support organisations in this space, opening conversations with governing bodies about structural and policy support, and engaging with corporations to explore how businesses can play a meaningful role in resourcing and expanding foster programs nationally.
