For communities across the Northern Territory, cats play a significant role in everyday life. And thanks to the generous support of our friends at Felpreva by Vetoquinol, these cats, and the people who care for them, are healthier and happier.
In July, 400 one-packs of Felpreva preventative treatments were delivered to AMRRIC (Animal Management in Rural and Remote Indigenous Communities) in Darwin, a donation valued at $23,000.

With this support, cats in Homeland communities are receiving trusted parasite protection that helps reduce the burden of fleas, ticks, and worms - improving the health of pets, people, and the environment alike.
As AMRRIC shared:
“Cats are a big part of life in Homeland communities across the Northern Territory. PetRescue has assisted AMRRIC to treat these cats with their generous donation of Felpreva. Together we are improving the health of our feline friends in community through reducing the parasitic burden, and in turn keeping the animals, people and environment healthy.”

This donation is more than just treatments; it’s a huge help for AMRRIC’s programs on the ground, ensuring communities have access to essential care and peace of mind for their pets.
A big thank you to Felpreva for backing this important work and helping to keep cats across the NT safe, supported, and healthy.
