Behaviour, Welfare and Wellbeing Seminar - Members competition terms and conditions

Terms and conditions of entry:

Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

The prize is a seminar ticket only. Transport costs and incidentals are at the winner’s expense.

All entries are via emailing a completed entry to members@petrescue.org.au.

The promotion is open to PetRescue members only.

Participants enter the competition by emailing their name, rescue group and contact details (or the name, rescue group and contact details of a nominated rescuer) to members@petrescue.org.au.

Participants may enter only once.

Entries close at 8.00pm AEST on Sunday 6th May, 2018.

Promotion dates

The promotion commences on Wednesday May 2nd, 2018, at 9.00am AEST and concludes on Sunday 6th, 2018 at 8.00pm AEST (the promotional period).

The winner will be contacted via email on Monday May 7th, 2018.

Only entries submitted within the timeframes above will be honoured.

The competition prize

The first valid entry drawn by the Promoter will be deemed the prize winners and will receive one ticket to the Behaviour, Welfare and Wellbeing seminar hosted by People and Animals in the Workplace valued at $160. The seminar takes place in Nunawading, VIC on Wednesday May 23rd, 2018.

The winner must be contactable via email and must be able to provide a current postal address for delivery of the prize.

Prize winner selection

The first entry drawn at random (with all required details provided in full) will be deemed the winner.

Promoter’s decision

The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and non-negotiable and cannot be redeemed as cash.

Entry restrictions

Employees of PetRescue and event organisers, and their immediate families, together with agencies and/or companies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family refers to spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, natural or adopted child, and sibling (whether natural or adopted by a parent). Entries that are deemed to be inaudible, incomprehensible, unable to be viewed, or deemed to be offensive or illegal by PetRescue will also be ineligible. Entries not completed in accordance with the Conditions of Entry, or received after close of entry, will be deemed invalid. Incomplete or inaudible entries will be disregarded.

Promoter’s liability

The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained by the prizes.

PetRescue does not now, nor will ever sell or rent any personal information that you share with PetRescue and affiliate sponsors or partners.

Communication failure

PetRescue and their associated agencies and companies will take no responsibility for email transmission issues which may delay or obstruct notification to prize winners.

Promoter’s responsibilities

PetRescue and their associated agencies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available.

Promoter’s rights

If, for any reason, this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of PetRescue which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, PetRescue reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. Should PetRescue be unable to proceed with the competition, the relevant state legislative authorities will be consulted in advance. No changes to the terms and conditions will be made without first consulting the relevant regulatory authorities.

Promoter’s liability

PetRescue and their associated agencies, companies and contractors will not be liable for any misadventure, loss or claim that may occur:

• as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected email;
• due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
• in relation to failure of an email entry message to be received by PetRescue on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
• Arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
