For the past several years, we've been proud to partner with Shout for Good, giving our members a simple way to add a donation button to their PetRescue profile so supporters and viewers could donate directly to their organisation. It's been a genuinely great partnership, Shout for Good made it easy for our charities to turn visits to their PetRescue profile into real, direct support, and we know many of you have raised meaningful funds through it.
As many of you will already be aware, Shout for Good has confirmed it will be closing from 5pm AEST on Tuesday 4 August 2026.
What's changing
The good news is that your fundraising url field is now open. Rather than being tied to a single provider, you can now link it to whichever preferred, secure donation page works best for your organisation. This might be a donation page on your own website, a fundraising platform, or a dedicated donation or campaign page, the choice is yours.
We'd encourage all members currently using a Shout for Good link to update their donation button before 4 August so there's no gap in donations coming through to your organisation. For step-by-step instructions on how to update your donation button, check out our how-to guide.
Finding a new home for your donations
We know changing providers can feel like an extra task nobody asked for, so we've pulled together a few well-established Australian fundraising platforms worth considering as you look for a new home for your organisation's donation page:

GiveNow - one of Australia's longest-running donation platforms, built specifically for registered not-for-profits to collect donations directly, with low fees and locally stored data.

Raisely - an Australian-founded fundraising platform that lets charities build branded donation pages and campaigns for free, with donors covering platform costs via an optional tip.

MyCause - an Australian-owned crowdfunding and donation platform used by charities and community causes to collect donations directly.

GiveEasy - an Australian donation platform provider offering customisable donation pages for not-for-profits and charities.

SupporterHub - an Australian all-in-one platform combining donation pages, CRM and supporter management, purpose-built for the charity and not-for-profit sector.

GIVIT - an Australian donation platform that connects donors with specific requests from partner charities, covering money, goods and time.

Charitabl. - an Australian, fee-free giving platform for registered charities, offering donation infrastructure, workplace giving and fundraising tools.
This isn't an exhaustive list, and we're not endorsing any one provider over another, it's simply a starting point. We'd recommend checking each platform's fees, payout process, and eligibility requirements (most require you to be a registered charity or not-for-profit) before you sign up.
