Introducing our ANZAC litter, brought into care on Anzac Day 2019. $50 from each adoption fee for this litter will be donated to Legacy Australia. They're named in honour of fallen Aussie war dogs. In memory of the dogs, their handlers and all who served.NELL - Fourth division Messenger Dog, WWI. SARBI - Explosive Detection Dog, Afghanistan, Purple Cross recipient.QUAKE - Special Ops Afghanistan, Special Air Service Regiment. HERBIE - Explosive Detection Dog, Afghanistan. JASMINE - Explosive Detection Dog, Afghanistan. HERBIELocation: Toowoomba DOB: 27/03/2019 Breed: cattle x arab Gender: male Desexed: yes Vaccinated: yes, x 2 Microchipped: yes Up to date with flea and worm: yesAdoption fee: $695 Herbie sleeps inside at night in a crate. He hasn't yet met cats, but if you're experienced then he should be easily trainable to be with them. With medium energy levels, Herbie would love for you to teach him how to walk on a lead and to go on adventures to the park a few times a week. Hes never lived alone so would prefer to have a canine friend to live with, or a patient and understanding adopter who will keep him busy during the day and keep his socialisation going to help him ease into life as a solo dog. House training is going well, and he knows how to sit, shake and almost has drop and wait sorted too. He is used to carers who work full time. Food orientated, Herbie is keen to learn and would also be a fun sidekick for puppy training or obstacle courses. He has no known fears and is a content, confident boy with a bright future.
Oh hi! I didn’t see you there! Welcome, my name is Stilton. I am a handsome young fellow with dashing green and yellow eyes. I love to snuggle, with my people, other kitty cats and even the dogs! My foster mum often finds me sharing the same bed or cuddling with them on these freezing winter nights. I'm a pretty cuddly guy, but on my own terms please, too many pats will ruffle up my coat. I am often hanging around with my foster family, sitting on the couch for tv time, helping with house work and at night asleep on someones bed. Ofcourse, like most guys my age, I'm always down for a play, bell balls and feathers being my favorite, along with a good old scratch on my scratching post. I am food orientated, as I am starving all the time, my foster mum doesn't understand, so I am in the market for a new housemate, so if you think we'd get along, I'd love for you too apply to adopt me. :) Thanks heaps! Stilton

Arj - male Dane mix, medium sizeLocation:Toowoomba, QLDAge:7 months (DOB 01/11/18)Adoption fee:$595Desexed:YesVaccinated:YesMicrochipped: YesWormed:YesHeartworm treated:YesHiya, the name is Arj. I came in from a rural pound after my owner abandoned me there. I am lucky enough to have went to a great pound that actively helps rehome dogs like me into rescues! Since coming into care I have been nothing but exceptional. Despite my estimated breed mix, I am small - I am almost fully grown, and only knee height! I am 19kg.I am a well mannered, happy go lucky guy. I love life and all who are around me - both human and fur friends. I have a lot of love to give and am really looking forward to what lies ahead with my future family. I currently live with a young family and get along great with their small child. I have also met toddlers and will quietly lay with them and am very conscious to not bump. I love other dogs, and sleep outside at night in a kennel. I know not to come inside (unfortunately my carer's landlord is very strict dogs outside only!) and even when my carer is walking through, I know now to come in. I am used to a full time working dad, and part time working mum and am happy being at home just with the other dog/s. I have been at home when there was a big BBQ on and I managed the noise and excitement very well, and remembered my manners.I currently live behind six foot fencing, so we aren't sure how I would go with shorter fencing. I love to go for car rides, and have even been in the back of a ute (with a safe harness!) which was a lot of fun. I know how to sit, wait, shake, 'uh-uh' if something I am doing is naughty, and I also know to sit and wait for food without being asked. I don't have any known phobias/fears, I am a very happy and curious but confident boy. My perfect home has another dog, a good fence and can walk me or take me out a few times a week for a run. I love to sniff and roll and play. If you think I would fit into your family well please contact my rescue today and lets meet! A x
Hi, my name is Sonny and I came into care after I was dumped on the side of the road in a rural Queensland town with my sister. Since coming into care I have had all of my appropriate vet work, have put on weight and am flourishing. I am an intelligent boy, very playful, love people and mix well with other animals. I love my soft toys, but my favourite game is rough and tumble with the other dogs! I love the company of other dogs so my ideal home will either have another dog for company, or take me to dog parks/play dates a couple times a week. I love nothing more though, than to please you. I am definitely a dog who wants to be your friend and be a part of the family. I currently sleep inside with my other dog friends and am good at bed time, and house training is coming along well. I know my basic commands and am food orientated, so very easy to teach. I haven't lived with cats yet but am easy to train-so an experienced owner will be able to train me up to be near cats in no time! I am used to a carer that works from home but being young and placid I will fit into almost any home easily. I absolutely love human children and am very good with them. My current home has 6ft fencing but I show no desire to escape so I may be ok with shorter fencing. Car rides are fun, I sit quietly. I do sometimes get car sick but only on big trips. My foster carer says I am a delight to have around and I cannot wait to find my own family. If I sound like a good fit for you please contact my rescue asap. Love Sonny x
Welcome, Comet! Just like a comet, this little guy is bright, unique and breathtaking (and has a tail). Cuddly Comet is a lover and ball of fun. He has met the cats and was very well behaved, is great with the kids, loves other dogs, slept through the night and is very polite in the house. He likes to play and LOVES his food. He knows sit but we are working on wait and teaching him not to jump when he's excited. He is a soft and gentle soul and a very happy boy. Comet will be medium to large. If Comet is the right fit for you, please submit an application today!
Bruno needs a home which will have time to train him bit more and exercise him regularly. Bruno was originally rescued from RSPCA as a 10 week old puppy, and his current family was told he is a GSP x .At this stage we think he has either Lab or Staffy in him as well.Good with cats: Yes Good with kids: Yes Good with other dogs: Yes
Sweet little lad with unusual colours! Has been around dogs, cats, children so used to everything! They were born in the rescue as we saved the mum and so they have been handled since birth. So will be snugglers!
Seeking a home with retired, active folks. People who are around much of the time and are happy to include Crackle in their daily activities. . . . . . Especially in the garden. Small space living would be suitable but a yard or garden area is prefered as Crackle loves outside time. Crackle is keen for a walk or a run around the garden, but equally happy to cuddle all day on the couch. He is a true companion pet and loves affection. New people take a little bit of time to get used to and so a home that has routine and not too many social demands is prefered. Crackle has become comfortable around other small dogs but is best suited as an only dog. He is house and crate trained and fine with our fostered cats.
Denver has an absolute joy for life and if you’re caught laughing without him he comes running to see what fun he is missing out on. Denver loves his humans, big and small, and would be best around older children as he's quite a bouncy fellow. He has learnt to sit, shake, drop, wait for food, stay (still working on that one!) and of course, how to be a lounge lizard! He's also perfectly toilet-trained and knows how to use a doggy door. Denver has been living on a farm with 4 foot fences and doesn’t jump over them. If he finds a weak spot though he will push through and go on adventures by himself just to see what’s going on in the rest of the world, until he gets hungry and then it’s straight home. He is learning to live with farm animals with fences in between them but cats and chickens would not like living with Denver unless they’re up for a game of tag. He is quite happy with his own company and will play toss the toys for hours by himself. A fur girlfriend would suit Denver as he doesn’t like sharing the limelight with other guys. If he is an only-dog he will either need room to run or walks every day.He is still learning how to walk in suburbia on a lead as he is used to getting his exercise running around paddocks. Denver thinks he is part fish so a dam, pool or access to water would make his life complete. Denver has learnt a lot since being in foster care, and with continued training he will continue to grow into the gentleman his foster family knows he will be.********************************************************************** To organise a meet & greet, fill out the online expression of interest adoption form from our page www.ppar.com.au/adoption-application/**********************************************************************
Well hey there, glad you popped in to check me out! My name is Zeb and I'm on the look out for my very own people to love. My foster Mum describes me as a sweet-natured, fun-loving guy, with a goofballish zest for life. I love humans and like to come up for pats and cuddles. I think I'm a lapdog, but Foster Mum keeps telling me I'm too big for that sort of thing! She has a lap, I don't understand her problem. Anyway, you get the idea - I love to be close as I'm a loyal kinda chap. I particularly love human children and the ones here love to run with me and we play chasey in the yard.I need someone willing to teach me general manners such as walking well on a lead and waiting to eat. I love my food so by using treats, my foster carers have already taught me to sit and come when called. I'm at that chewing stage, especially if I think the item once held food, so I'll need some toys to satisfy my chew instinct until I outgrow this stage. I love playing with other dogs, and would fit happily into a family with another dog, although I'm also okay on my own too as long as I get lots of hugs when you get home. I'm an active chap, so am happiest with regular exercise. I don't hurt cats, but I like to play chasey with Foster Mum's 'dogcat'. We both enjoy the game but now I think all cats want to play like that and Foster Mum tells me they don't. I'm eager to please my people. I'm a good traveller in the car and I love the water! I would be equally suitable to a family as I would a single person. I'm a tall guy with a slim physique. I'm very strong and will need some further lead training. I'm not one of those dogs that bark at nothing but boy oh boy, when I do bark people stop and take notice! I have a very deep bark so that will make me great as a protector of your house and yard, as long as the intruder doesn't slip me a juicy steak! So what do you think? Are we a match? Please contact Precious Paws and let's meet up and see what we both think.********************************************************************** To organise a meet & greet, fill out the online expression of interest adoption form from our page www.ppar.com.au/adoption-application/**********************************************************************
