Meet Briseis (Bris-say-is)
A loving family needed!
Briseis is a very special and unique dog who will require the same in her owner!
She is the most sweetest, chilled out pup you will ever meet. She is crate trained and toilet trained. She is residing with 2 other dogs and 2 cats and all gets along really well. She is happy to play with her foster sisters, but more than happy to snuggle up on you while you watch TV, but having fur siblings will be an advantage for her to continue learning the ropes.
When Briseis came in she was covered head to toe with cutaneous horns. Very rare condition that started when she was 3 weeks old and progressed and got worse. All the vets that she went to were stumped and everything that they tried just didn't work. So that's when they turned to us to help!
Briseis's carer decided to try a different approach. She reached out to a homoeopathy that was more then happy to help. They took samples of the horns and analysed them and created some supplements to help and appears to be working. She has also changed her diet to a species appropriate raw diet to help the guts microbiome back into line.
In the first 2 weeks, she is looking so much better 😍 she still has a long way to go, but improvements are definitely there.
Months later!! She saw a dermatologist, but unfortunately, after different approaches, nothing worked. She is still on the homoeopathy supplements. It's not getting any worse but not getting better either.
To be transparent! We will not know what will happen when her double coat comes in and when she hits her teenage years.. As we all know things change and sometimes for the better, but sometimes not🤷♀️
She recently got desexed and vaccinated with a little change, but not something the carer is to worried about for now, but it is monitoring.
She also has weekly baths at a groomer with meditated shampoo and conditioner, which she will need to continue to stop any bacteria producing around the horns.
So this is where the special and unique owner comes in.
✅️ Must continue with all treatment that has been put in place
✅️ Must continue her on a raw diet
✅️ Must keep the carer up to date on a regular basis at least once a week. With phone chats and videos
✅️ But the biggest MUST of all is to show her the love and give her a happy, loving home that she deserves
Do you think you could do this and tick all the boxes?
Then please apply below
When you meet her I guarantee it will be love at first sight💖
