About Kevin
Introducing the fabulous Kevin and what an awesome family dog he has proven to be. Kevin and his brother Teddy were surrendered to a rural NSW pound by their owner as she was unable to find homes for them.
We believe him to be a blue heeler x Bull arab (meaning he could have 50 breeds in him). And what a beautiful mixed breed boy he is!
Kevin is approximately 12 months old but is quite relaxed for his age and is a perfect size to be inside with his family. He is around knee height and is smaller than what his photos appear.
Kevin is a slightly anxious boy, however he has come leaps and bounds using a Thunder Jacket. He is much more confident in new surroundings and situations.
This beautiful boy is dog friendly and is currently in a foster home with a cat. He is very interested in cats and we suggest that if his new home has a cat, it is a bossy, dominant cat.
Kevin has lived with kids around 10 years old and simply adores them, so he would be a great family addition. He can be a bit jumpy when he says hello out of excitement, but is learning that sitting nicely gets him pats.
He is toilet trained and will take himself outside except for the odd anxious or excitable wee as he is still a pup. When walking Kevin is becoming more confident especially wearing his Thunder Jacket but he loves to sniff everything!
Kevin is a wonderful passenger in the car and is very food oriented making him very easy to train. Hes a smart cookie who would adore learning new tricks and commands. He is the perfect dog to take to obedience training and agility!
Kevin's ideal home is with another friendly dog to give him confidence and show him that people are not mean. He will be a mainly inside dog with access to outside and he loves being involved in everyday activities. He would love a family with or without kids semi active but not too much stimulation at the start as it may be a bit too overwhelming.
