About Stark
Are you looking for something a little scruffy, looks like a Muppet and oh sooooo cute!!! Then Stark is the boy for you!!!!
We are unsure of his breeds, he is the size of a Labrador, has wiry red hair like an Irish Terrier and ears like an Australian terrier. He truly is a Tall Terrier!
We believe he is 18 months old, so he is still has pup behaviours.
Stark (AKA Rusty) was rescued from a rural pound in NSW where he had been surrendered not once but twice!!! We are absolutely baffled why? He is a lovely dog!!
Stark (Rusty) is super affectionate and just wants to be loved.
His foster carer was mowing the lawn and he followed her the whole time. Every time she stopped to check the mower, he would sit sit at her feet. The perfect little gardening friend!
This boy requires continued training on the lead, but he is learning very quickly! He is very food motivated which makes training a breeze.
He has been tested with small and large dogs and was very friendly with both and is currently fostered with two large dogs. He loves doing zoomies with his two foster dogs.
Stark is not a garden ornament, he must be an inside, outside dog that will be part of the family. He is a very active boy that would do well with a family that loves the outdoor activities. Camping, hiking, sports events and kicking the ball around the backyard with him.
He suffers a little from seperation anxiety, since he was dumped twice at a pound, so someone working from home a majority of the time would be ideal. Even a tradie taking him to work? He adores travelling in a car.
Stark would also love an active, friendly doggy companion to do zoomies around the backyard and to cuddle up with at night. He's a very social dog.
Stark is still a young, very active dog and will become destructive if not given enough stimulation, enrichment toys, activities and taken for a good run/walk each day.
If you think that your family can provide Stark with an active, stimulating and loving forever home, where you will continue his training, apply for him today!
