Boop

Hi, my name is Boop and don’t I just have the most, ‘boopable’ little nose ever!! I am a 14 week old mastiff x, my foster family think that I am starting to resemble a boxer. I was dumped at a rural NSW pound in a deposit shoot, so unfortunately I have no more information on my life up until now. I am dog friendly, cat friendly - although I do like to see what the cat is up to and sometimes run after her if she runs away from me but only to see where she’s going - and child friendly!

I find it much easier to come out of my shell when there is another doggy in the household so I would prefer to go to a home with a doggy brother or sister.

I have learnt to sit and I am slowly getting used to walking on a lead, however I will need to continue practicing this out and about once I have had all my vaccinations to help with my confidence. I will require ongoing training as I am only young, however I am a very quick learner and I LOVE treats! I love to cuddle up whether that be by your side or with another doggy.

I love to play with squeaky toys and I am well on my way to learning fetch, I just forget to bring the ball back sometimes… I do not resource guard my food or toys and I am practicing sitting and waiting for my meals. I sleep though the night either in my crate or cuddled up on the bed with you. I am fully toilet trained.

I am sometimes a little weary of strangers, I do have a small lump on my head that has been checked by the vet and they believe it to be scar tissue. They have advised me that as I grow that it will spread out and not be too noticeable. In saying this, I am easily persuaded to be your best friend if you have a handful of yummy treats!

Once I am desexed I will be ready to come home to you and I just can’t wait to meet you!
