About Sadie
Hi there, my name is Sadie and I’m a 2 year old Kelpie female.
I use to live on a big property with horses, cows and chickens and another dog. My previous family loved me but I just wasn’t the right fit and sometimes it was lonely.
During my time in foster care I was a little timid to start with, though I adapted really well and settled in quite nicely lapping up the attention, cuddles and belly rubs.
I can get abit excited and jumpy with my humans but never with the toddler as Im a very gentle girl who just loves to give lots of kisses. I’m also a very smart girl, house trained. I sleep inside and love to learn new tricks.
I love chasing the stick and will bring it back to you each time. I also love car rides and going for walks, exploring and living an active lifestyle.
I wouldn’t consider myself a typical working Kelpie. I’ve come into a foster home with 2 older dogs who snooze their days away inside when we’re not out and Ive also enjoyed the quiet lifestyle and day napping.
I have so much love to give and will instantly bond with my new family.
In my new home, I must be allowed inside, I love nothing more than being part of what’s going on. I would be best suited to someone who will continue my training and with an active lifestyle / family.
Sadie's new family will need to demonstrate they are able and willing to continue training and the ongoing physical and mental stimulation a working breed needs.
