About Rip
Rip (Yellowstone inspired) is an active and confident pup who loves to play with his litter mate Rawley and any other friendly dog. He especially loves to play chasey with toys and a good wrestle, so he would love a home with another dog to help keep him entertained.
Rip is more independent than his brother Rawley, and will often find his own way to bed and sleep on his own, letting his brother cuddle up next to him.
Rip is less worried about bigger dogs and recovers quickly from a startle, but he has also become quite the snuggler.
Both are getting the hang of toilet training, using puppy pads indoors and nearly doing “wees” and “poos” on command outside on the grass. Rip loves plenty of outdoor time and don’t seem to mind any weather conditions, true to their tough working breed genetics.
Both are easy to distract from chewing on your hands with distraction to toys and a gentle “ah-ah”.
As well his litter mate Rawley, Rip has been living with 2 other dogs, a 6 yo female and 11 yo male, and have had a visiting 2 yo female to play with (all desexed of course) and are very respectful of the older dogs by not getting in their face and moving away if the body language is unfavourable. He is extremely clever and observant, taking things in quickly, like learning to follow the other dogs through the doggy door, and drinking from their water bucket.
Rip's new family will need to demonstrate they are able and willing to continue training and the ongoing physical and mental stimulation of a working breed.
