About Tweety Bird
Introducing the scrumptious Tweety bird, AKA Nova who is 6-7 months old and the vet thinks is a Maltese x Jack Russell.
She is an absolute ball of energy, will play for hours, take a quick nap and play again.
Tweety Bird is great with kids but needs to be watched closely with young children as she still hasn't figured out that hands, feet and hair aren't chew toys. She's very excited when saying hello and does jump up a lot!
Tweety Bird has shared her space with 2 other dogs and 2 cats. Both of my dogs are large breed, one being around 60kg but he is super gentle with her. She loves to play with other dogs, had a play date with a toy chihuahua and had a great time.
She will chase cats if they run so will need other animals to be very patient and tolerant as she is still very much a puppy.
Tweety Bird would also be perfect as an only pet but with someone who is mostly home as when she's bored she will chew anything and everything, including power leads 😬
Tweety Bird is not a lap dog and is not suitable for young children or more mature people. She requires a very active lifestyle with fun play, walks and outdoor adventures galore!
She is slowly getting the hang of going outside for the toilet and needs to have constant access to outside or be taken out every hour.
Tweety Bird is starting to sit for food and is very food motivated so I think with time and lots of treats she'll be fine with most basic commands.
She is good on lead, however pulls a little but when wearing a harness is much better, but she will want to say hello to everyone who walks past.
Tweety Bird needs to be restrained on car rides otherwise she will jump from person to person and can be quite distracting.
Overall she is a gorgeous little girl with a huge personality, she just needs someone who has the time and patience to teach her everything she needs to know. AND you must love puppy kisses all over your face!
