About Captain Planet
Earth, Wind, Water Heart! With your Powers Combined, I Am "Captain Planet"!!! but my foster family have been calling me Rusty.
I am a 10- 12 month old Australian terrier cross and just sooo cute!
I was found wandering with my mate in rural NSW and taken to the local pound, but after weeks waiting there, no one ever came to get me 😔
I wasn’t microchipped so was brought to Victoria with my other pound buddies and went to live with my foster family.
My vet guesses that I am only about 10-12 months old!
My foster family tell me that I am the bestest boy ever! I know sit and am working on drop and stay.
I’m also working really hard on my toilet training and as long as you remind me to go outside a lot I’m ok.
I live with my 5yo foster sister who is a cocker spaniel and we get on great! We share food and the couch together and love to do zoomies up and down the hall!
I am friendly with the family rabbit and so would probably be friendly with cats and pocket pets with slow introductions.
Being so young and having probably not had any training, I still act very much like a puppy! I'm a bit jumpy and nippy because I think that’s how you play.
My family is working hard on teaching me that that’s not good manners.
I will require a family who will spend a lot of time with me and put in all the training I need. My coat is very wiry and it drops all over the floor so you must be ok with lots of vacuuming too. I’ll also need a nice secure yard as I’m a pretty good escape artist!
All I really want is to be with you all the time. I hate being left by myself so a small doggy friend to keep me company or someone who is home a lot would be best please.
I absolutely love kids and I let them pick me up and carry me around but if I were in a home with babies or toddlers I might be a bit too much for them with my jumping.
I am not suitable for a senior elderly family as I love to for a lovely long walk and am super active as I am a typical terrier. I will need plenty of stimulation, obedience training and outdoor games to keep me occupied.
