About Fanta & Nina
Looking for a pair of loving and adorable cats to add to your family? Meet Fanta and Nina!
Fanta is a handsome white and ginger boy who is an independent soul and is happy to entertain himself. He enjoys chin scratches and is making really positive progress with his confidence. Although he can be a bit scared and is not overly affectionate, he adores his adopted sister Nina and they make the perfect pair.
Nina is a stunning brown and tan tabby who is chatty and affectionate. She loves to headbutt her humans and show her affection. Nina has a loud purr and loves to cuddle against her human’s chest for a good snuggle. She is also very active and loves to play with her toys.
Fanta and Nina have beautiful markings and bright green eyes that will captivate you from the moment you meet them. They are both FIV positive, but with proper care and attention, they can live long and happy lives. Fanta and Nina love all kinds of treats, but have a soft spot for the creamy treats. They also love to play with anything that they can bat around and chase, especially small balls and crinkle toys.
Fanta and Nina may have their quirks, but they are both loving and special cats who will bring joy to any household. They are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Don't miss out on the chance to add these lovable felines to your family and give them the forever home they deserve!
Medical notes
Fanta and Nina are FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus)
It is important to realize that while it is impossible to predict the survival of a given cat infected with FIV, they can live very normal, healthy lives for many years if managed appropriately.
Casual, non-aggressive contact does not appear to be an efficient route of spreading the virus. As a result, cats in households with stable social structures where housemates do not fight are at little risk of acquiring FIV infections.
How else can I help protect an FIV-positive cat?
Nutrition is important for all cats, FIV positive or not, along with limiting as best as you can their exposure to potential pathogens. These measures are important and can extend an already long life. It is especially necessary for FIV positive cats to be kept indoors, where their immune system will be less exposed. An examination at the vet twice a year is very important.
