Red Dog

Introducing the loveable Red Dog! This beautiful young gentleman is gentle, kind and wants to please, he absolutely loves people of all sorts!

Red Dog is a 2 year old Kelpie who was previously a working dog and was surrendered to a rural NSW pound for unknown reasons.

He is a little strong on the lead, so older primary kids are suggested and he definitely connects with his master, very quickly.

Red Dog is anxious without someone around, he really bonds with the person who spends the most time with him. Anyone who feeds him, showers him with lots of ear scratches, head bumps and praise. He will even perch his front feet up on your lap to get the most pats he can!

Red Dog can sit, but hasn’t really had a lot of training, however he stands still if you ask him! He will be the first one at your feet if you open the back door and he will follow you around all day long.

He is dog friendly and may like a gently, friendly dog to keep him company if his family ever need to leave him home alone.

Red Dog would not be suited to a home with cats or pocket pets as they are fun to chase!

His ideal home would have a big backyard where he can play and be taken on nice long walks to the park, beach and on adventures.

Red Dog's new forever family will need to demonstrate that they have working dog experience and that they can provide enough physical mental and physical stimulation for him.
