About Rocket Man
If you have ever felt lonely and want to find your best friend, look no further than Rocket Man.
He is believed to be a 2 year old Bull Arab X who has had a rough start to life, having gone through much more than any dog should have to endure.
He was a day away from euthanasia, was starving, bearing scars (including a crudely cropped tail) and without a forever home. His scars are a reminder of what he has endured, as well as how far he has come.
No other history is known.
Rocket Man is thriving in his foster home, proving to be the ultimate companion whom everyone has come to fall in love with.
He sits and waits for his food, is toilet trained (has been using both a doggy door and an open door), walks very loosely on the lead, and is an absolute snuggle bug.
Rocket Man does not like to sleep in a crate, but does sleep on his dog bed, as well as on ours (if he is invited).
He loves cuddles and shows love, affection and appreciation like no other. He is great with dogs of all sizes, living with 4 dogs of varying breeds and sizes.
He is great with children of all ages, with him interacting and living with children aged 1 and 8 in a very polite and friendly manner.
Rocket Man's ideal home is a family with another dog (he has not been tested with female dogs). He may suffer from separation anxiety (he has not been tested as someone is home all of the time).
He has proven to have a very calm temperament and has not been destructive in his time as a foster dog.
He is medium to large , and weighs approximately 35 kilos after arriving in our care emaciated and starving .
Rocket Man will be the best friend that you could ever ask for.
