About Delilah
Delilah. She is a sweet and cheeky girl who is inquisitive, playful and extremely funny. She will have you laughing often at her silly antics. She is an indoor cat who enjoys exploring the garden along with her owner but happily returns inside when asked.
Delilah tends to keep to herself during the day but loves a little cuddle on the bed at night. While sometimes aloof she is never far away. She simply enjoys being around as a member of the family and getting involved when she‘s so inclined. So you can rest assured days out of the home at work won’t phase her but she will be pleased upon your return.
Don’t be deterred by her shy and introverted personality, when she is comfortable she can be a real love bug who enjoys a good belly scratch. She is always up for a chat and loves to greet you by saying “hello” when you say hi. Simply ask her “what’cha doing Delilah?” And she’ll either give you a mischievous “nothing” or a full run down of her day.
While she is a much loved member of her current family, their home is ultimately too busy and eventful for timid Delilah causing her distress and anxiety. Her owners have made the heartbreaking decision to find her a new home so she can enjoy her days feeling comfortable and at ease.
Delilah would thrive in a home which is quiet, stable, predictable and consistent. Her new owner/s would be a single person or couple with no children, a routine lifestyle and minimal visitors to the home. While she is acquainted with dogs her ideal family would be cat only with one or multiple feline siblings to spend her days with and help bring her out of her shell.
Adoption details
Our adoption process consists of:
- An adoption application questionnaire that will be emailed upon an enquiry if we deem your enquiry is suitable for that particular animal. Please read the description of our animals before making an enquiry.
- A meet and greet to ensure yourself and any existing animals are suitable for your chosen furry friend
- A house check to ensure your property is suitable. This my include physically coming to your house, a video call or photos.
- An adoption agreement to sign upon being approved for adoption. This includes a two week trial period to allow your new pet to settle into their new home.
- Please note we are purely volunteer run so sometimes it may take up to 7 business days for the team to get back to your enquiry and we will only contact you if we believe your enquiry is suitable.
