Barbie Girl

Barbie girl (aka Bonnie) is a beautiful 2 year old Catahoula Leopard dog x who was found wandering in a rural indigenous community and has some burn marks on her back.

We have been told that the hair will more than likely grow back, but if not, it adds to her beautiful character and doesn’t bother her at all. She is a real sweetheart and loves nothing more than a cuddle on the couch with her humans.

Barbie Girl would absolutely thrive in a home where her family will be there a majority of the time. She would also love to have another dog in the house to keep her company and feel her best.

She is wonderful with kids of any age, her foster family have 2 kids under two years old and she is extremely gentle and aware of her surroundings. Barbie Girl lives with two cats, she does have a tendency to chase them if they run so will need a slow introduction if cats are in her forever home.

Barbie Girl is crate trained at night and has quickly learnt to use a doggie door. She is excellent at letting you know when she needs to go to the toilet by going to the door. She walks well on a lead and is learning basic commands and has good recall.

Barbie girl loves to play for short bursts but is more than happy to be a couch potato as long as she has had some exercise. She is amazing in the car and will curl up and go to sleep. She is a beautiful dog who will make a wonderful addition to any family 🤍
