About Mizuna
Hi there, my name is Mizuna. I am a beautiful 4 month old, believed to be a kelpie cross border collie girl and I currently weigh 7kg. Fully grown I will be a medium sized dog who will require daily exercise and stimulation.
I arrived from regional NSW in April.
Since being in foster care I have come a very long way and thrived in the family home, however I am still timid when I am uncomfortable with my surroundings.
I am toilet trained and have learnt to use a doggy door; I am crate trained for bedtime.
I absolutely adore children and love to play. Sometimes I can get over excited and a bit nippy, but I am learning to show my excitement in other ways. I am full of puppy energy and love to run around and play.
I can sit on command and can walk on a lead. I am a smart girl and with some basic obedience training I will learn what I can and can’t do in no time.
I have met several small to large dogs and I have been very gentle and friendly to all but do find them scary at first so like to hide behind my foster mummy.
I have been tested with cats and farm animals and absolutely thrived in a farm environment. I am still young so did chase the cats a little but stopped as soon as I was asked too. I was super gentle with them. I loved babysitting the calves and having a job to do.
I need to go to a home with another high energy dog to keep me company when the humans aren’t home and a large back yard to play in. If there are children there to play with too, that would be ideal.
I have been vet checked, microchipped and have had my first immunisations. I have just been desexed and now ready to find my forever home.
