About Addie
HI! I'm Adelaide and I'm super excited you're reading my profile.
New things can make me a little bit nervous, so please go slow until I'm ready. Loud noises frighten me too, but I know it's because I havent seen much of the world yet and that will get easier.
My foster mum says I'm a bit cheeky, a bit sassy, sneaky, bouncy and a whole lot of fun.
I love to run and run, and then I love to belly flop and sleep on my big tum.
I've been learning lots and will be able to show you how I can sit now. Puppy school would be so helpful! Can we go, can we go?! I'm so clever and this would be the best!
I'm getting really good at chasing the ball, too. I guess that's where the cheeky part comes in - I've been stealing the ball off my big foster sister when she's playing fetch and then I run away so that she has to chase me to get it back hehe.
I love to chew on bones and soft toys, and I'm an expert at tug of war after lots of practice.
I'd love my home to have a big yard to run around in; I'll need it for my soon-to-be long legs; I'm going to grow into a big girl, y'know!
I love kids, but can be a bit bouncy around them, so if I was to have a home with tiny people, they'd have to know how to handle my energy and big kisses.
I'd be fine as an only dog at home, but will need lots of enrichment to keep my mind and body busy, especially if you leave the house.
If you have an older doggo sibling that can match my energy, help guide me, and also handle my puppy tendencies, that would suit me perfectly, too!
Daily walks will be lots of fun; I'm still getting the hang of the lead and hope you can show me the way.
I'll need further toilet training help; I've been getting really good at using puppy pads and if you keep popping me outside I'll show you how I can do it like a big girl.
I really can't wait to be your adventurous best friend and give you lots of love.
If you'd like to come and meet me, please contact the Warrnambool RSPCA
