About Evie
Evie is a 6yr old Miniature Poodle needing a new home through no fault of her own. She lives in Wingham NSW which is not far from Taree.
Following is some information from her human.
"Evie came to me as a rescue dog from a puppy farm 2 years ago. They were re homing her as she was unable to conceive..
I had her desexed, caught up with vaccinations, got her used to groomers and vet checks, had her teeth cleaned, taught her basic manners and house trained, taught her to lead walk.
She gets on well with men, women, children of all ages....( regular exposure to my grandchildren...12, 15 and 19 and intermittent exposure to my nieces children, 2, 13 and 16.)
She visits regularly with my daughter, who has golden retrievers, cats, chooks, horses and a peacock, who roams freely. Evie is absolutely fine with ALL these animals and birds.
She loves her morning walk ( still gets treated quite a bit to encourage calmness), loves being out in the sun. Loves sitting beside me on the lounge at night.
Eats raw meat Patties with vegetables, kibble, chicken necks and bones. Is not at all fussy with food.
Her daily routine is up at 6am, toilet, waits outside for feet to be wiped dry, medication, which she takes very easily wrapped in cheese, meat or smoked salmon.
After my breakfast, we walk.....then home for her breakfast ( meat Pattie and kibble). Then it's out in the sun, and a chicken neck or 2 around 2pm.
She is not a barker.....does yodel when I return home, but this settles quickly. I am sometimes away from home for several hours.
Since starting her anxiety medication, she now walks without any issue. ( Medication started in November for anxiety around walking)
She is a quiet, gentle natured girl, and I believe would do best in a household as a solo dog. That household could be a single person, couple, and children. Has been described by vet as timid."

Evie does get carsick so she will have medication for her trip to her new home. She will not be transported anywhere. The successful adopter will need to drive to pick her up.
