About Callie
Hi! We're Pippa (6) and Callie (2), two sisters looking for some patient people to be our forever humans! We're a bonded pair so we need to go to a home together but that just means our forever human will get double the love!
We're both cautious shy girls who found the shelter environment quite stressful but now we're in a foster home we're starting to relax and come out of our shells. When we first came to foster, we were confused and liked to hide in our little cat house together but now we're confident enough to sleep on top of the house!
We both like to follow our foster humans around so know where they are and sometimes we even let them pat us! We both LOVE food and the best thing to happen to us is when we sometime get to eat wet food, its so yummy we eat it all up!
I'm Callie and the more confident sister, I love to come out and rub myself all over my foster humans legs. Apart from eating, my favourite thing is to bird watch out the window. There's a big tree just outside that has lots of birds who sing to me all day. Foster mum keeps me inside and says birds are friends not food but I know if given the chance I could show her just how *friendly* I can be with them!
My big sister Pippa is more cautious than me and keeps a close eye on the humans, sometimes she even waits to see what the wet food is before eating any, so I always get to try it first! Yummy! Sometimes when Pippa's snoozing on her bed though she forgets to be wary of humans and purrs and purrs when foster mum gives her pats and ear scritches!
We're looking forever humans who understand it may take us some time to come out and say hello but once we do, we'll give you lots of love and affection!
Pippa and Callie are a bonded pair and have to be adopted together. Their total adoption package price is $50 ($25 each). #bondedpair #indooronly
Medical Notes
Pippa and Callie have mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Callie has a waiver for Weight Management.
Callie has a waiver for Inappropriate Toileting. She has previously displayed some evidence of toileting inappropriately, such as toileting on bedding or outside the litter tray. Her urine has been checked to rule out medical concerns, and it is likely that this behaviour is associated with stress/anxiety. It is possible that this behaviour will continue during the transition to your new home, and we cannot rule out that it may be an ongoing issue. No issues have been noted while in foster.
Pippa has been diagnosed with DJD (degenerative joint disease) and arthritis in both hips. Osteoarthritis is inflammation within the joints and tissues surrounding them, and can be caused by weight gain (obesity), previous injury or trauma, and age related degeneration of the tissues.
We are located with our foster family in Hocking.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
