About Tiger Lily
💚💙 Available for Adoption "Tiger Lily" 💚💙
If you’re looking for a best friend for your current best friend, then this gorgeous girl will soon steal your heart. Introducing Tiger Lily who we think is a staffy x Kelpie approximately 13 months of age.
Tiger Lily nicknamed "Lily" is an energetic pup who had a rough start in life and just wants to be loved but is quite timid.
She is best suited to a home with a playmate with as much energy as her. Tiger Lily is quite submissive until it’s time for cuddles and then she will try and make sure she isn’t left out.
Because of Tiger Lily's rough start with humans she just wants to be with her furry friend all the time for confidence - including sleeping with her furry friend. Her new best friend is the preferred sleeping arrangements however she will snuggle on your bed too being spoilt like she should be.
She is not tested with small children but is super friendly with other dogs and has been around two cats. Tiger Lily would suit an active teenage family who would enjoy her wrestling games and affection.
She has a shoe fetish, so make sure they are not left in her vicinity or you may lose a pair!
Tiger Lily's favourite toy is a bone - she loves chewing on the bones and carrying them around. Although our house is filled with toys it’s seems as though she’s never had one before and doesn’t quite know what to do with them. Plenty of patience is required with this little beauty.
Tiger Lily is fine to be left at home with another dog and is not destructive and does not suffer from separation anxiety.
Since Tiger Lily wolfs down her food, she is fed seperately from the other dog and will sniff out bags of dog food. All food will need to kept out of reach or in containers.
Tiger Lily is toilet trained and does use the doggie door although she will sometimes have an accident when she’s playing.
Walking is something she’s not used to and when walking by herself she is quite timid however when walking with a furry friend it’s a completely different matter and after some time has found it’s lots of fun out there in the big wide world.
Tiger Lily will require a confident family and be taken to dog obedience where she can continue socialisation.
