About Dorry
*In foster care in Leichhardt, Sydney*
Dorry has gone from a scared, timid, hissy boy rescued from a car engine to a playful purr machine, and he's getting more confident every day!
This lovely lad enjoys hanging out with the other kittens in his foster home - especially when his bestie Kuma feels like spooning, or his brother Broggy's in the mood for a wrestle :) He’s definitely the more sensible one out of him and Broggy (see photo!) and thinks his brother is so silly! They make a great fluffy duo and would love to be adopted together.
After having a blood parasite and tail-tip amputation, Dorry is now healthy and energetic and ready to find his purrfect forever home. His favourite game is racing through sheets hung over chairs (it's the simple things!), and he also loves scaling the cat scratcher and playing soccer with a ping pong ball.
Dorry is a bit more reserved than his brother, but he has the loudest purr of the seven kittens in his foster home - and it turns on like magic as soon as you pick him up!
Dorry loves: belly scratches, sheet forts, wrestling with his kitten friends.
Named after: The giant Dorry from One Piece!
Like all Maggie's pets, Dorry is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm a sweet, patient boy who needs gentle handling at all times, so I'll do best in a home with a single person, couple, or family with kids aged around nine and above.
I'll definitely need a kitty companion, and would love to be adopted with my brother Broggy or another kitten if there isn't a cat already at my forever home! (Here's Broggy's profile: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/966984) Being left alone during the day wouldn't bother me at all if I had a snuggly friend beside me.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Teens would be great to live with, but I'm not sure about younger kids just yet - especially those under seven or eight.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Yes please - I love furry friends!
Medical notes
The tip of Dorry's tail has been amputated, but this doesn't affect his quality of life.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
