About Broggy
*In foster care in Newtown, Sydney*
From a colony in Leichhardt, Broggy was about five weeks old when he saw his first human! He wasn't so sure about the big wide world (or his new, smaller, world inside a house) - at first, anyway! Tentative and hissy, he didn’t want a bar of anyone… but he still made his foster carers laugh. Now, he's adjusted like a champ to his new life and is ready for a forever home all his own!
A sweet and floppy boy, Broggy has quickly realised how nice pats and cuddles are - to his carers' delight, as his fur is cotton-wool soft :) He’s now one of the first of his litter to run up for pats, and thinks it’s hilarious to sprint out of the kitten room and face the big cats, doing mad zoomies around the house. Confident and adventurous, he's given his more timid brother Dorry the confidence to love and trust his foster humans too!
Both Broggy and Dorry had to have the tips of their tails amputated - likely from an infection in utero - which means the ends of their tails are currently shaved. (Don't worry, the hair will grow back!) These darling boys would ideally love to be adopted out together and give you all the purrs and snuggles your heart desires.
Broggy's favourite things: Chasies, sleeping in the laundry basket, making biscuits.
Named after: Broggy the giant from One Piece!
Like all Maggie's pets, Broggy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm currently in foster care with two people who work from home, six other foster kittens and three resident cats... so I'm used to lots of company, and will definitely need a kitty friend in my new abode! An active family who'll play with me or who have cat-loving kids would be perfect :)
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! I'm a huge fan of cat trees and racing around the house. There's plenty of snuggles to be had in between, though!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I'm really adaptable and adore attention, so I think I'd get a kick out of family life.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've never met a dog, but a gentle one would probably be fine. I love other cats!
Medical notes
Broggy has had the tip of his tail amputated, which will cause no ongoing problems.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
