About Ruby
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
A gorgeous, affectionate, playful kitten, Ruby LOVES humans and other cats! Her sister Georgie is her best friend (she's also available for adoption: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/966988) and she's also bonded more recently with her slightly older foster brother :)
Most of all, Ruby enjoys being picked up by her humans or snuggling with them on the couch, purring away as she receives endless chin rubs and pats!
Due to early trauma Ruby has had one of her eyes removed, but this doesn't stop her from racing round the house or jumping gleefully from the highest point of the cat tower :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Ruby is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I've always lived with cats, so I think I'd be happiest in a home with another sweet kitty! The most important thing for me though is that my humans are around quite a lot, as I crave cuddles and attention. I'll also need to be indoors-only due to my restricted vision.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm not a zoomie type of girl, but I do like to play with my sister or a good toy in the mornings! My favourite toy is a piece of string that I carry around in my mouth :) Then I usually spend the daytime hours having a long snooze, before kipping down on the couch with my humans at night then squeezing in a quick play before bed.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but due to my sociable nature I'm sure we'd get on well if they're gentle and give me lots of pats!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other cats SO much! A forever home with another friendly feline or two would be purrfect for me :)
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage, but I'm open to nice ones for sure!
Medical notes

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
