About Georgina
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Sweet, gentle little Georgina (called Georgie in her foster home) lives for pats, strokes and chin rubs! She loves being picked up and will push her face into her human's chin to get closer, purring up a storm.
Due to early trauma Georgie has some eye impairment, which means she needs to move her head to adjust her eyesight, but she seems to see well.
This lovely young girl has grown up with her sister Ruby (also available for adoption: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/966989) and previously they lived with many cats. They also have a foster brother currently and get on well with him - though Georgie isn't shy in letting him know when she thinks he oversteps her boundaries, and she often tries to steal his food! She loves food :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Georgina is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I've always lived with cats, so I think I'd be happiest in a home with another nice kitty! I adore human company too, so it'd be amazing to live with a family, couple or solo person who has time to spend with me.
Oh, and I'll also need to be indoors-only due to my restricted vision.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Pretty low-key, really! I like to bat a ball around with my sister, or swat at something on a string, but that's mostly in the morning and evening. The rest of the day I'm happy to snooze on the cat tower or couch, or inside the recently discovered wardrobe :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children yet, but as I'm so gentle I think I might enjoy living with kids!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love other cats SO much! A forever home with another friendly feline or two would be purrfect for me :)
I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs at this stage.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
