About Custard
I call him Hooch….. yes its after the dog in the film with tom hanks as they both have the same expressions, loyalty and need to be by your side at all times.
Custard is a beautiful 6 month old Mastiff x pup who is a big boy and is only going to grow bigger!!! He is very doh and child friendly! A gentle giant!
He was surrendered to a Rural NSW pound as the family could no longer afford him and they had children in the house.
An absolute snuggle puss who just want to cuddle all day when you are home. Custard can be left home alone, he does get anxious at first but then settles down quickly and is not a nuisance to the neighbour.
Still only a puppy, Custard has lots of energy and needs toys to keep him busy when you don’t have the time to spend with him. He is easy to walk on the lead but would ideally love to have someone that can run with him instead.
Custard has been desexed, is a gentle giant, great with other dogs and loves meeting new people and making new friends!
Everyone wants to pat and chat to him on our walks he’s Mr popularity. Custard will need time and training put into him as he is growing daily and will only get bigger. We are unsure just how big?
He understands basic commands, is toilet trained, doesn’t like the crate only because of his size but he will go in. Custard will be an amazing pet for someone ideally a family with older children as he is likely to accidentally knock younger children over due to size. He has been known to lean on people and children, he's such a special boy!
He would especially love a friendly dog as company as he is very dog social!
Note: Custard climbs fences that are horizontal and have caps between them. So a solid 6 foot paling or colourbond fence would be ideal for him.
