Please meet Lucy, a sweet, affectionate, sociable 2 year old Harrier who was neglected in a backyard for 2 years but is now relishing the joys of life.

Are you someone that is searching for a particular dog to do scent work with? maybe fake hunting with aniseed trails? Lucy is your girl!

She has already learned how to sit, drop, shake and bark on command and is toilet trained so she has proven herself to be extremely trainable.

Lucy will only be rehomed to a family that has scent hound experience, so please only apply if you have previously owned a scent hound. They can a stubborn group of dogs and are not for the inexperienced owner.

Like all Harriers, as soon as she becomes bored, she will look for a way out of the property to satisfy her hunting urges. This maybe over or under the fence, so she would make an awesome dog to do field work with.

In a house, Lucy is super affectionate, wonderful with other dogs and loves to play. She is very vocal and excitable when she sees other dogs which we are working on.

Lucy would suit an active home that enjoys the outdoor activities, maybe hunting with aniseed trails. Teenagers and adults are more suitable and she must have at least one doggy friend to keep her company.
As stated above please ONLY apply if you have owned a scent hound before and you feel that you can sufficiently keep Lucy contained in your property.
